(...) Llona is inexhaustible when it comes to reading, watching films, listening to music and even writing. He is currently reading Ventanas de Manhattan by Antonio Muñoz Molina, a book that reminds Llona of the years he spent in New York studying at the Pratt Institute. He lived there, on and off, for 24 years. Llona is also rereading 80M84RD3RO (read BOMBARDERO or “bombardier”) by Peruvian poet, writer and cyberpunk César Gutiérrez. Llona enthusiastically shows me an oversized notebook that turns out to be the 35th volume of his “diary,” in which he writes whatever comes to him and pastes photos, drawings and photocopies of the column he writes periodically for the Lima newspaper perú21.
